Franz Ferdinand, The Hives, The Kooks and more for summer trio of festivals

Three summer festivals have combined forces to announce a shared line-up, the trio of events bringing some of the biggest names in music to our shores. Announced this week is the annual Falls Festival, which is held over Monday 29 December – Thursday January 1 in two locations – Marion Bay, TAS, and Lorne, VIC. Artists will then head west for Busselton, WA’s Southbound Festival (Friday 2 – Saturday 3 January).

Finally, making its debut in 2009 is be the Byron Bay Arts & Music Festival, which kicks off on Wednesday 7 – Thursday 8 January. Who’s on the bill?
