Rural firies to get a new HQ
PLANS are underway for the new fire control centre for the Coffs Harbour District, with the Minister for Emergency Services, Tony Kelly, turning the first sod at the site next to the Coffs Harbour Airport today. Mr Kelly said work would begin on the new facility in 2009, providing a home for the NSW Rural Fire Service and allowing volunteers to continue delivering their service well into the future..
